What to Wear: The Maldives

While getting ready for our second trip to the Maldives (back to the Ritz Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands), I had a good idea of what I should pack. The weather is 75+ degrees, sunny, with usually 1-2 days of rainy weather. Most of your days are spent in a swimsuit + a complimentary resort hat to use (and they are chic - so no need to pack one).

Sharing my packing tips + recommendations below.

STATEMENT + NEUTRAL BIKINIS

The Maldives are very luxurious, and bikinis with a statement are a perfect fit here. I suggest over-packing on these because some days we wore multiple swimsuits (ex. snorkel in the morning, and then change into a dry swimsuit for the beach or pool so you aren't wet all day). The blue bikini on the left was my favorite one this trip, and I wish I bought a second from this brand!

NEUTRAL COVER UPS

Walking around the resort, you will need to have a cover up on. I suggest packing neutral cover ups because it will be easy to mix + match them with your swimsuits. II ended up wearing this white LoveshackFancy skirt (left) with a white crochet button up the most.

DRESSES, DRESSES, DRESSES

Every night, I wore dresses for dinner. Majority of the restaurants are usually on the nicer side, so opt for resort-style dresses (not casually, but not as formal as cocktail). For our 10 days in the Maldives, I packed 5-7 dresses with me and wore them multiple nights.
