Latest obsession: Fringe Jeans

Since moving to New York, I've been able to spend more time with my 85 year old grandmother. She is one of the biggest shoppers I know and can somehow always get a deal. Lately, she keeps telling me that some of the clothes I wear are too baggy and that I am not showing my curves. Then she finishes her rant with "If you got it, flaunt it". Alright Granny....I hope this style is a little tighter for you (but also still bohemian loose).

This summer, one of my favorite styles I've seen around NYC is fringe jeans. I've been searching high and low to find the perfect pair. This style can be paired casual to the park, a day shopping in the city, happy hour or date night. The pair I am wearing here is by SP Black purchased at Nordstrom Rack.

This style jeans goes well with an over the shoulder look (shown here) or a graphic tee. Over the shoulder shirts seem to be a style that has been able to stay around for awhile, so gal friends...no need to buy a new shirt to pair with these jeans.

The fringe on the bottom gives it a fun flare to them. For my more conservative style friends out there, trust me with these. They grow on you....They just make the outfit look bohemian and trendy without much effort with accessories or makeup.
