What I Want: Fall Fashion Trends I Like (October 2022)

We are (almost) 1 month into Fall! My favorite things about Fall: soft + cozy outfits, apple picking, the different colors of fall leaves, pumpkin spice lattes and.... perfect beach weather. It is finally cooling down in Florida (it was a HOT and humid September), and we are enjoying our beach days in the high 70's / low 80's!

The last few weeks, we were traveling up north for a couple of weddings. It was nice enjoying cooler weather and being able to wear cozy, fall clothing. Since we are traveling north often this season, I want to share some fall 2022 fashion trends and warm + cold weather products I have my eye on (aka in my shopping cart).

Fall Fashion Trends I Like

LOAFERS

My Mom and I keep debating this one. She thinks they look like an old lady style. I think if they have a little bit of a heel and a thick sole, they look cute. Emma Chamberlain helped popularize this previous trend, and it is making a big comeback this fall. I just bought a black pair and I am excited to experiment with them.

KNIT DRESSES

I like this trend because it's something I can wear in hot weather - aka tank knit dresses. Cozy to wear around the house or at a pumpkin patch with a leather jacket. Linking the one I just got from Amazon here.

BLAZERS

I am noticing these are getting more popular because they pair well with loafers. I like the neutral, oversized blazers with bootcut or mom jeans.

DIFFERENT STYLES OF JEANS

The popular styles I have seen are: bootcut, 90's straight + relaxed leg, wide + flare, and mom jeans. Skinny jeans are still around, but not as popular as it once was. I like pairing my loafers with bootcut jeans.
